Wedding in Kerala, Sreesanth married Nain Princess of Jaipur


Controversial tainted former India pace bowler S Sreesanth tied the knot with Bhuvaneshwari Kumari Shekhavat, nicknamed Nain by people close to her, Princess from Jaipur’s royal family. Marriage was held at the famed Guruvayoor Sree Krishna temple in Kerala on Thursday morning, December 12, 2013. The marriage solemnized as per the traditional Kerala Hindu style was held at an auspicious time this morning that is 07.30 AM.

Bhuveneshwari Kumari a girl of the Jaipur royal family, a jewelry designer by profession along with her family arrived in Kochi from Rajasthan on December 8, 2013. Pre-wedding ceremonies were held at a private hotel in Kochi on Wednesday which was attended by the close relatives & friends from both families.

The beautiful bride-to-be was dressed in a yellow lehenga designed in traditional Rajasthani styled. She was looking pretty in heavy and exquisite jewelry including maangtika and nose pin. Sreesanth also looked classy & elegant in off white Sherwani, which he wore with a silver work stole. The dress of Sreesanth was designed by THE EAST WEST DESIGNERS, Jaipur.

 A fun was at peak with traditional Rajasthani music and dance in the evening. Folk performers with sword dances and matkas was also entertained the guests.

The couple will go to Sreesanth's ancestral home in Kothamangalam in Ernakulam district after the wedding for the post wedding ceremonies. The wedding will be followed by an exquisite reception at Le Meridien Hotel Kochi in the same evening December 10, 2013.

Earlier speedster was jailed for 21 days, after his name cropped up in the match-fixing scandal during the last edition of the IPL. The BCCI had banned him and his Rajasthan Royals teammate and Mumbai spinner Ankeet Chavan for life in September.

Sreesanth has been charged under the stringent act MCOCA and the case has now been posted for hearing on December 18.

Sreesanth is only the second cricketer from Kerala to represent the country who has played in 27 Tests (87 wickets), 53 ODIs (75 wickets) and 10 T20s (seven wickets) also known as Kerala Express.
